HOFer, Dave Casper’s accolades include - 1973 National Champ, College Football HOF, Super Bowl XI Champ, 4x First-team All-Pro and NFL 1970s All-Decade team. It is very rare to find Raiders shirts from this era with original names still intact. Player number (87) appears on the front back and both sleeves, all done black on silver (faded) tackle twill. Player name (CASPER) is done across a white name plate on the back, in black tackle twill. Casper signed and inscribed the jersey on the back left shoulder “Dave Casper 87” in black marker, in our opinion rating an 8. The jersey is pummeled, showing evidence of holes, possible blood stains throughout and tremendous overall use. This white mesh jersey is cut at the tail above the tagline, which is a known trait of his. We were able to locate images of Casper in game with this modification. This jersey was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows excellent wear. Accompanied by an ALOA from JSA.
