Paine Stewart was the winner of eleven PGA tour events including the 1989 PGA Championship and two U.S. Open's. This black and blue leather golf bag has "Top Flite" stitched in white on all four sides of the bag in six locations. The "Lexus" logo and name is stitched on the front in gold. There are many compartments with zippers and straps all in excellent working order. Underneath "Payne Stewart", which is stitched in white on the front is an autograph done in black marker that rates a solid 8. This bag was personally owned and used by Paine Stewart during his victory at the U.S. Open in 1999. Tragically, it turned out to be his last as he was killed in a plane crash on October 25, 1999. This great piece of golf history is sourced directly from the son of a former MLB baseball player who was on tour with Stewart in 1999. It is in overall excellent condition and is accompanied by a LOA from JSA.
