Rickey Henderson is widely considered to be the greatest leadoff hitter in the history of baseball. Always an interesting personality in the clubhouse, and on the field, Henderson played 25 seasons for 10 different teams, including 4 separate stints with the Oakland A's. His 1,406 career stolen bases is good for 1st all-time. He is also the all-time leader in runs scored (2,295), and leadoff HR (81). Henderson was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009.
