Almost six foot high standing safe, reads "Marvin Safe Co., N.Y.," no later than about 1885 when Marvin merged with Herring and Hall. Rolls on four wheels, black exterior, interior is five levels of steel plate each 1-1/2" thick, inner doors with key, tremendous hand painted inside walls and doors, very ornate pastoral countryside scenes with gold leaf. Combination, circular cylinders lock doors and mesh with steel plates, light exterior paint chipping, EXMT condition overall. This item will be expensive to ship.
