The 1969 Seattle Pilots season was the team's inaugural season, having entered Major League Baseball as an expansion team during the offseason. The team was placed in the newly established American League West, where they finished sixth with a record of 64-98. The team would spend only one season in Seattle, as the franchise would move to Milwaukee the following season and become the Brewers. On the left front tail is the “Wilson” manufacturer’s tag with wash instructions and size “42”. Directly below is “1969” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch. Inside the rear collar is a strip tag with “Vidal” embroidered in navy blue chain stitch. On the right breast is “pilots” which has been restored. On both the front and back is player number “25” both of which have been restored. All numbers and letters are done in blue on yellow tackle twill. On the left breast is the team patch which has been restored. The trim on the sleeves has been restored. The jersey shows game-use and it is beautifully restored.
