In the 2005 season with the Cincinnati Reds, Ken Griffey Jr. hit .301 while belting 35 home runs. Griffey Jr. was inducted into the Hall of Fame on the first ballot in 2016 with 99.32% of the vote, the highest ever for a baseball player. On the front left tail is the Majestic manufacturers tag with an attached flag tag reading the size “46”. Below is a tag reading “PROPERTY OF CINCINNATI REDS 2005”. On the left inseam is a “100% POLYESTER” flag tag with washing instructions. On the left shoulder is a “Majestic” logo embroidered. On the left chest is the Reds team logo in red, white and black tackle twill. On the right chest and on the back is the player number “30”. Across the back is the player name “GRIFFEY” sewn directly into the jersey. All numbering and lettering is done in red on white on black triple tackle twill. On the back collar is the official “MLB” logo. Griffey signed the front of the jersey beneath the player number in black marker and in our opinion the signature rates a 6. This jersey is properly tagged, was presented to us as game-used and in our opinion shows appropriate use. Accompanied by a LOA from JSA, a PSA/DNA LOA and an additional LOA grading the jersey an A10.
