Lamar Green is a seven year veteran forward of the NBA/ABA (1969-79; Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Jazz and Virginia Squires). Lamar was first team Ohio Valley Conference for three years and is an engineering graduate of Morehead State University, KY. In his senior year at Morehead, he averaged 22 rebounds per game which was third in the nation. Lamar was the third round draft choice of the NBA Phoenix Suns in 1969 where he played for five seasons. On the left front tail is the "Spanjian" manufacturers wash tag with the jersey size "44" on it. Attached is a “L” flag tag. Across the front is "PHOENIX." Below that and on the back is the player number "16." Across the back is the player name “GREEN.” All numbering and lettering is done in orange on purple tackle twill. The jersey shows game-use and appears to have no alterations of any kind.
